Living Mandala

Well, I am really excited to start building Living Mandala's online reg. system for Aloha Ania' 09 today.
It will be up and available to everyone very soon!

This will be the second course we have done on the BIg I and I can't wait to go back.
Last year Penny Livingston from RDI along with Doug Bullock and The LM allstars had a rocking good time!

We worked hard all day learning and growing, we went swimming with dolphins at sun rise and saw some local history. We even drank Kava with a BIg Kahuna. The Kahuna. He was a treat and a great musician.

We where really blessed that adventure to have so many musicians and merry makers. Every day was a good day. I am ready to pull out my hammock, get a new pair of slippahs....OH! and go snorkeling! We might even be there in time to see some of the whale migrations. Last year I got some really great shots off of Kyle's camera.

Bruce the Rev. Sprout and Ela Monster where raging in the kitchen with Kelly and Aruja...I might have even been seen there once or twice. And wow! The rights of passage ceremonies we had the opportunity to participate in where amazing! I had previously only seen those sort of things in or on Ripley's.
Well, Believe it or not...I now believe in the mind over the matter, as apposed to the matter over the mind.

Join us this year for another great chapter in the story of Aloha Aina! Life is totally a chose your own adventure. And I love reading choose your own adventure. Because you never know what will happen next!
Turn to page 47.

Many Blessings,
Julie Bird

Course Inspiration

“Aloha ‘Aina” is Hawaiian for “love of the land”, or “to love, respect, and nurture the land.” As human beings now facing a time of great environmental and social transformation, we believe that it is through this spirit of reconnecting to ourselves, to our communities, and to the Earth with a spirit of love and care that we will renew and restore a healthy balance of human beings living in harmony with each other and their natural environment. We are inspired and grateful to be offering this holistic permaculture design intensive to the greater Island Community to further empower and synergize our efforts of ecological and social regeneration.
