Living Mandala

I am just getting back to the mainland.
I am still a few days away from being home, but I am still savoring all the flavors and smells from the island. I think the course was a great success! We had a great bunch of students from all over the globe. We where housed at the lovely La akea Gardens over on the Pahoa side of Big Island. The ground was a lot of cinder and "ah-ah" or sharp lava rock. The get over 150 inches of rain every year! I think it rained almost every night. The food that was available from the land was outta this world.

We covered a lot of ground! Penny from the R.D.I. came out for our first week and then where where joined by Max M. from the M.E.C. and John V. for the remainder of our adventure! Jay Ma and Sage also facilitated and class was awesome. Some of my favorite minds in the"business", and talk about shared cross pollinated knowledge. These guys are the best in their field and I encourage everyone to pick their brains and share and build our resources... Collectively I am positive we know just about everything ...

And Wow, I am really excited to see all the really great pictures that came from this course!
We had a lot of fun and built a strong community. We had a record 7 birthdays over this 2 week course! WOWZERS! But don't worry...we didn't eat that much cake. But, we did eat a lot of fresh food from the land! I just left and I am already to go back.

Kalani Souza came out to represent the traditional wisdom of the islands and we had a sunrise ceremony, that is still stuck in my head... After the course I and a few others made sure to go out to the most eastern point on the island for the morning ritual. What a great feeling! And then, we as a community proved once again: that if you don't mind, it does not matter. Because everything is simply mind over matter...verses matter over the mind. We broke thu some fears and stepped into a loving embrace from our peers! Powerful Medicine! Let's do it again.

Such good times, and good friends in a beautiful environment!....aaaah sigh of joy.....

What a great adventure!
I need to fly for now, off to pick up my dog from my sister and play with the Ohana.
Mahalo, and all my blessings to you.
