Howdy from New York City Everyone! I'm glad to join you here and look forward to sharing intention and strategies with you all. I'm dedicated to seeing a better world left behind me than the one we're living in now. I used to be a Real Estate Professional here in NYC, for over 20 years. Due to health (repeated Cardiac episodes brought on by stress) I gave that up 4 years ago. Now I teach Metaphysics and Philosophy.

I'm dedicated to all aspects of Permaculture and especially Macro/Micro Economic Permaculture. I have a weekly program on Blog Talk Radio called the "Ascending Way." It streams live at 2:00pm eastern every Thursday. Tomorrow my topic will be, "Thriving and Surviving in these Challenging Times." I'll be talking about my perception of Economic (and other) Permacultures from a City downward perspective.

Please call in if you can and share your insights; (347)426-3835 or listen online at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/Ascending-Way. If you register as a BTR user (free) you can save any long distance charges (if you have a headset on your computer) by loggin in and pressing 'click to talk.' There is also a chat room, which usually has every sort of folks you can imagine in it.

Hope to hear from you. Please introduce yourselves as part of this ning.

Love, Life, and much Delight,

Hello all. I wish I had something meaningful to contribute, but this is all very new to me. While I have a very strong interest in permaculture and sustainability, and have read a good bit on these subjects, I'm having a difficult time figuring out how to incorporate these principles into my life as it exists today. I'm a CPA by trade, and it is my hope that the Financial Permaculture course in Hohenwald, TN will put me in contact with people who have similar interests, as well as provide me with some ideas of how I can use my business skills to further my interest in permaculture and sustainability. Needless to say, I'm really looking forward this experience.

I'd be very interested in hearing from those with experience in this area.

Thanks,
Steve
